DUCK RIVER DENTAL OUTREACH

Mission: Provide dental services to the underserved in our area. Those of low income and who have no dental insurance. Duck River Dental Outreach is a 501c3 charity dental clinic. We treat patients living at or below %200 of poverty level and have no dental insurance. Patients pay on a sliding scale based on their income. We offer basic dental services including extractions, basic restorative care, and removable prosthetics. We also check blood pressure and blood glucose levels for all patients and make the appropriate referrals when necessary. We work with all specialties of healthcare as necessary to provide not only improved dental health, but also improved systemic health. To date we have provided over 700 dental procedures at a market value of over $175,000. All income thus far for the clinic has come from patient fees and donations. The donations have come from individuals, churches, civic organizations and vendors in the dental community. To date we have received no grants.
